The adventurers soon discovered that they were not alone in their quest. A group of Qadirans, fierce warriors from the desert tribes, had also infiltrated the Scriptorium, seeking to claim the Eye for their own purposes. The Qadirans believed that the Eye would allow them to harness the power of the genies, protecting their people from the coming apocalypse.

As they navigated the labyrinthine Scriptorium, the group encountered a rival treasure hunter, a cunning human named Rogério "The Fox" Faria, who was also after the Eye. It was meant to be temporary, but I'm too used to it now to switch back.
